Eagle Glen Golf Course
Central Michigan's premier public facility, designed by Jerry Matthews will test your game on every level. Situated on 188 acres of rolling northern Michigan terrain, Ray Hearn and Jerry Matthews of Matthews and Associates have created a little corner or Scotland right here in central Michigan. Among the unique features of the course are bent grass tees, greens, and fairways. Eagle Glen consists of gigantic undulating greens, natural wetlands, 70 bunkers, and hundreds of mounds. Jim Neff of Michigan Golfer Magazine remarks on his experience at Eagle Glen; "It's hard to believe that Eagle Glen can get any better than it was the day I played it. Location: Five miles West of Clare and one mile North of Farwell at the corner of Surrey and Old State Road. Take I-75/US-10 West. Exit at Old State Road and go South to Eagle Glen 1.5 miles.
